One needs Zen-like patience waiting for that 647KB .bmp to load zen, for the impatient how about this version, a 3.05KB .gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif:

I'd like to know what each command does and the different syntax.
And no, Tully, I don't mean syntax like "fps START SHOW". http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
There are far more advanced stuff u can do with these commands.
But either it's not documentet or it's for the developer only.

You can get a syntax definition for each command by typing help followed by the command name in console. While this doesn't tell all, it does allow most of them to be deciphered fairly readily.

Tnx Tully but I know the help. It doesn't tell me what I need to know.
I need more in-depth info.

For example I've tried the Sturmolog once and it uses complex syntax for the Console commands that ain't described anywhere.

I would like to know the list of commands available via the hotkeycommand.

Every now and then someone posts a script showing various hotkeycommands that are not documented ANYWHERE that I know of.

What is that list and why are only a few people allowed to know it? Like Vengeanze said, it seems there are some privelged few that have access to commands in the game that others don't. Those need to be published.

For instance I've found scripts using the fowllowing:

@hotkeycmd EXEC AIRCRAFT_GEAR_UP_MANUAL
@hotkeycmd EXEC AIRCRAFT_GEAR_DOWN_MANUAL

there are others for changing the display of icons, maps and speedbar and no I don't mean mp_dotrange. I'm talking about commands used via the above syntax in conjunction with hotkeycmd and EXEC. What are those options?

Sensei, the two you've mentioned there appear to be the game's internal variables for manual raise & lower gear. Check the default.ini file in the Users folder and the settings.ini file in your pilot folder for all the controls you're currently using.

This is one of the things I dont like about FB, that it is not very user friendly...at least for someone like me, who really doesnt know too much about computers

Is it becuz it takes less resources or swomething to make these commands "pushbutton"?

Seems to me it should at least be published in the manual, just what each console command is, what is does, and how to bring it up

So very often in a server ppl ask "how do i check my fps?"

Im sure many many ppl dont know how many mor ethings can be done from console command

Sorry Ven, but I can't tell you much more (if anything) than the syntax definitions available in console. All I'd be doing is retyping them in the forum... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
