I noticed (and Im not the only one :-) ) that cockpits of P51, P47 and P40 are too dark. Well, that is really annoying thing for me..that must be fixed in final patch. What are u think about that?

Hard to say but I think they are on the dark side.

BTW: I think the Zero s cockpit is too dark.
Doesn t look like either Nakajima or Mitsubishi interior green to me but what do I know.

3D models and textures for Zero and Ki-84 were probably made by different persons. Hence, different colors.Japanese interior color was quite puzzling for me when I did a Zero model. In some source material it was stated its's something like blue-green, in other (Japanese) that it's just green.

BTW, Tvrdi, do you know your callsign means "Hard one".

I noticed the same thing first time in until I started to fly around. You must have been opposite the Sun. It depends on which direction you are going as to how dark they are. It's just like the real thing.

Evidently, Zero interiors were painted, while the Ki-84's interior was primed with a clear blue lacquer called "aotake". I think that's the word.

Read around on J-Aircraft.com.

I would also agree that they are too dark. (well, the p-39 is nice)

Lighting effects are one thing, too dark is another. Incidentally, there is plenty of light in the P-51 even when inverted with the sun under you. ;-)

Rab, i know what Tvrdi means, Im Croatian :-)) somebody said that lightnes in cockpit depends in what direction ur flying...opposite to sun or from sun....I know that, but that means that USA cockpit shadows are realistic and for other planes u cant say that...cause in other planes u dont have darkness when flying opposite to sun...P40 cockpit is so dark i cant see at first all text...
