In recent weeks/months I've said here on a couple of occasions that trim had a built-in delay, of about two seconds. I'm pretty sure that was the case one or more iterations ago (4.07 or earlier), and it stuck rather forcefully in my memory. To the point that I've mistakenly believed it to be the case still.

Not! Strange how long it took me to finally realize that trim, at least when mapped to a slider, now has what's effectively instantaneous response. Well, elevator trim, at any rate. Having the other axes mapped to buttons hasn't allowed to test for delay in yaw/roll (inherently subtle response).

Now, I haven't tried to ascertain if the old 'bat turns' are feasible, mainly because I don't fly that way.

The moral... make sure of the facts before rendering pronouncements. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blush.gif

But I'm a happier camper now!

Yes, but now we have rudder delay.

Depends if you're online of offline. Some servers I have been in lately have had a lot of lag, and it seems like it takes forever for it to respond.
