Would anyone happen to know how the Uplay passport works for multiplayer in this game? I am planning on buying the North american version of this game but my playstation account is japanese. I know for mortal kombats pass I was able to download it on my na account and still able to play online with my main japanese one will the Uplay passport work like this or is it psn account exclusive and will lock me out of multiplayer?

I had never heard of a Uplay passport until now...
Here's a link for FAQs (http://uplay.ubi.com/passport/) if it helps in any way but also, since no one's really replied to you here, try asking in the Uplay forum (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/8121060208) as well. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hi there,

At present it's not been announced if ACR will use it, however it's likely it will - so I will try and find out for you.

Most codes Ubisoft issue though, do have region coding on them, unlike the games - so you may have problems - unless you have used codes from Ubisoft before?

[update]

The recent Driver game, used the same passport - and those codes were region locked to the region of the game.

IF ACR uses the passport system [as I said it's not been announced to] - then it maybe a problem, due to your account being from another region.

usually, as done with most other games, the passport is free with the game but it's also sold separately on the console stores if you rent the game or buy it used. if you buy the game new, you shouldn't have to worry about it, otherwise usually they cost about $10 or something.

I have a quick question. I have all the AC games for xbox, but I'm planning on getting ACR for the PS3, so does that mean my Uplay account won't work? Or will I be able to sign in on PS3 with my Uplay account that I used for xbox?
