a fix for my screen resolution so I can see the darn game in it's beauty..I need a 1280 x 1024 the fix that is posted here that you replace a file does not work, and the other one to edit the target in the startup doesn't work either.

A fix to eliminate or speed up the intro's...I don't need to see them anymore after the first run, thank you.

And or to help the above questions maybe just provide me with the correct file and I'll edit them to correct the above items.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas

I can give you one of your Christmas wishes http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif If you look at the 2nd page of the R6:Vegas - Tips and Tweaks Thread (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3801065024/m/7301029215/p/2) in the R6: Vegas for PC forum, the first post explains how to remove the intro movies:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">i managed to remove the intro movies.
Download the blank intro files (scroll down) http://www.tweakguides.com/GRAW_8.html
From Koroush??es great GRAW guide.
1. go to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas\KellerGame\Startup
2. open the rar, copy 1 of the files to the desktop. They are all blank files, you dont need all of them.
3. rename the blank file you downloaded to RainbowRun.bik and copy to startup, then do the same by renaming it to R6Vegas.bik , DW_MM_Splash_a.bik , Ubilogo.bik and utech_sw.dds
This replaces the intros with blank videos so you wont see any of them </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

As far as getting custom resolutions, search the http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/ website for Rainbow Six Vegas. I know they have some info on it. Merry Christmas!<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Hey....thanks Merry Christmas. they work =)

Now another setting maybe I'm missing. The game seems to have a haze and not a crisp 1280 x 1024 picture. Are there some settings I could adjust?

This issue is ridiculous and seems to be directly linked to the amount of people in the room, so I think it is some sort of lag issue, but at the end of the day most normal broadband connections should be able to hold 10 people minimum.

The problem with the guns going off and reverberating around is extremly anoyying to say the least and has caused some people I know to not play the game.

It needs serious attention.
