How do I change it in the game?!
Under the game folder is a folder called Force feedback. It contains a bunch of files, but can I edit them? They are all *.ffe type of files which I have never seen before. I cant open them either... I want to increase the spring tension if possible. I use a Microsoft Sidewinder forec feedback joystick by the way...
Anyone?!
cheers

I made a pressure plate for my CH stick to add tension. Work's good

you can easily edit the different forces (increase/decrease) with something called "force feedback editor"

this utility is supposed to be here: http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#007, but download link is dead

the original filename was ForceEdit.zip, if you look around in the forums here, you may find a download location hopefully

Which version of the stick?
USB or game port?

The control panel applet will give you access to force editing, but AFAIK only when you have the MS Sidewinder software installed.

There is a force feedback editor for the ffe files, part of the DirectX SDK.

I found a copy of FEdit Here (http://www.cs.vu.nl/%7Eeliens/hush/wt/sdk/tools/FEdit/).

Also see Airwarfare's (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#007) FFB offerings.
