Hi All,
Just purchased a saitek ST-290.I like it.Suits my needs perfectly.

The problem is that it will not stay in calibration from one mission to the next.I need to recalibrate every time I play.No biggy,it only takes a couple seconds. But still.....

Does anyone know the cause and/or the cure?

The stick is USB,and yes the drivers are current.

Thanks

mmm, save a copy of your "conf" file and see if it changes at game startup. Maybe you can re~use the "old" file at game startup.

Also, maybe setting "conf" file as read only may help. I dunno about this, others here might.

Some Saiteks are "auto calibrate", meaning that you have to move each axis through the full range of motion each time you reboot the computer to re-calibrate the stick.

Lexx,Tully,
Many thanks for the help.
Makes sence,the "auto calibrate" thing.
I can live with that,no problem.
Once again,thanks,and happy flying!

i concur with tulley. the older run versions of the evo would do this also. 1 quick complete circle of the stick and moving the rudder full deflection both ways would solve it for the rest of the time u were in game.
