You should be fine with SHIV. However, you may not be able to play SHIV at higher settings. The ATI 9600 is an older card and may not be able to handle a full load very well. You might want to consider upgrading your graphic card.

I also had an 9600 XT before and exchanged it with a X850 XT PCI-E.

Although there are much faster cards available now....but the price ..THE PRICE ! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif

I ALSO had a 9600XT before i upgraded my PC with a modest Nvidia 7600GS(AGP card slot about US$140 when i bought it here in Jakarta). It gives me 130(exterior)-69(interior)fps in SH3. Nice card. I think if you can afford it you should buy a new graphics card. I suggest at least a 7600GS or equivalent.

EDIT: Oh you already ordered. I missed that. Good choice me think. Good hunting

Barely. I defy any human to tell the difference between a 939 4000 and an AM2 4000.

For much the same money you could have bought a 7900GT. SLI isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Your new system will run SH4 but it's not optimal for the money.

The Geforce 7600 GS isnt a really fast card either. Benchmarks prove that Two 7600 GS's are only as fast as one 7600 GT

I am also wondering how my AMD 4800 dual processor comouter will run it. It struggles when very close to SH3 Grey Wolves smoke becuase of my Radeon 1300 card but otherwise it runs it very smoothly. Im hoping it is also the case with SH4. I bet the game wont feature any dual processor support will it?

There you go. The GPU is your bottleneck, not your CPU.

You clearly haven't been reading the Daily Devs Answer (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/857101043/m/7651021115/p/3) sticky.
