New Coral Sea campaign

I realized this Coral Sea Campaign re-editing the game original CoralSea.mis file.

My aim was to have a more intensive action game, with shorter distances to travel before reaching

enemy ships and a higher possibility of air engagements.

Althou this is my first attempt with PF Campaigns the result seems to me worth my effort.

Note: this campaign is not aimed to be historical accurate.

I simplyfied also the relative MIS.files, reducing ships number, and the possible random locations of the fleets.

As I said is my first attempt, so I need a simple starting situation with few objects to gain information abaut the correct way to create MIS files and to have they work properly with Dgen.


ATTENTION: TRY THE FOLLOWING AT YOUR OUN RISK, MAKING AND CONSERVING A BACKUP COPY OF ANY FILE YOU ARE GOING TO MODIFY.



Please follow these simple steps

1. Make a copy of the present text.

2. Locate CoralSeaBlue.MIS and CoralSeaRed.MIS files in DGen directory of PF

3. Make a backup copy of them

4. Edit CoralSeaBlue.MIS so to have this content:

6. Paste both files in PF Dgen directory.

New CoralSeaBlue.MIS and CoralSeaRed.MIS will overwrite original ones.

IMPORTANT NOTE: conserve a copy of the original CoralSeaBlue.MIS and CoralSeaRed.MIS files

and paste them back before any update, patch, or just if you aren` t satisfy of the new campaign outcame.

7. Enter PF and start a new carrier as US Navy or JN pilot.

Select the Coral Sea Campaign as a fighter or bomber pilot.

I` m experiencing Coral Sea Campaign as USN fighter pilot: I played few missions and the outcame is satisfying my expectations.

Enjoy and make me know your impressions and suggestions.


MY ATTEMPT TILL PROPERLY WORKING IS JUST EMPIRICALL.

IF ANIBODY KNOW THE EXACT MEANING OF THE DIFFERENT NUMERICAL CODES IN A CHIEF_ROAD LINE PLEASE MAKE ME KNOW
