Try to take off with the 50% gas and 2.5 rockets and try the other ones..

Someone did a mistake there..

I always said that the beta testers are sleeping when they test il2... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I think Oleg did a mistake on the load .
F6 with 6x2.75" hvar rockets with 50 % gas is much harder to take off from carrier than the 6x 5" hvar Rockets ..

Yes, Gozr is correct.....

There is definitely a problem with the load out of the F6F-5 pertaining to taking off from a carrier. Several of us tried and confirmed it last night.

In short, the problem is that it is more difficult to take off (in fact, seemingly impossible) with the smaller and lighter load out of the 6 X 2.75" HVAR Rockets than it is with almost any other, larger rocket load out.

Here's what we found:
With 25% fuel and even 50% fuel we were all able to take off with 6 X 5" Hvars. As well, most of us were able to take off with even 50% fuel and 6 X 5" AP Hvars. Conversely, none of us could take off with the much smaller and ligher 6 X 2.75" Hvar's with as little as 25% fuel.

Regarding the 6 X 2.75" Hvar's, it's easier to take off with the heavier loads than it is with the smallest and lightest. (Not a huge error to stop anyone from playing PF, but rather one of interest we thought we'd share....)

I think if you give it a try, you'll see what we found as well.

they porked all the carrier take offs, you can't take off a wildcat with 50 fuel and 100lb bombs
