I just beat Assassin's Creed II. It was an AMAZING game, and I can't wait for more. When I beat the first game, I had the same thought, and found out there was in fact going to be a sequel, so I hope there will be for this one.

Does anyone know, or have any thoughts about what the third game would be about? Does it take place right where it left off with Desmond going after Vidic? Or does it take place of another ancestor? I've heard some rumors that it's taking place in WWII times, and this time the ancestor is a woman. What are your thoughts?

I think it's a little to soon to be predicting anything about ACIII. It's only been a month since the release. We should wait a few months before we speculate in detail. But that doesn't stop people from trying anyway http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Haha I know. I'm just a little anxious. I've never played such a good game to be honest. I was the same way when I beat the first one, and about two years later, this one came out. The rumors about the second game were completely wrong, so I bet the ones for the third one are too. It seems to be heading where I thought it would. Desmond is now a trained Assassin, so, the next game seems to be headed in the direction where you can play as Desmond, rather than an ancestor.

Well, it seems like it's going to be 50/50 since Desmond and the others are searching for the other items from Eden.

I must agree with you. AC2 is such a fantastic game, I had to bump the Assassin's Creed Franchise up to my second favourite gaming franchise, ever. I'm so excited for the next game, let alone the DLC for the second one.

Though, the rumors are already going around that we might be seeing 1. Female ancestor from WW3. 2. Midieval England. 3. Feudal Japan. In honesty I'd much prefer #2, but if it goes the other two ways, let's just hope it goes as well as the previous games.. Which I have no doubts it's going to be, but gotta keep that hope.

acII was one of the best games i have ever played all tho it only took me about 13 hours it was heaps fun, there is definitely gona be part 3 i have some ideas that it should have in it: ability to flip, hidden blade on foot so you can kick and stab with hand on 2 people also when fliping kick some1 with the blade backflip over 2 other people behind you then stab with the wrist blades.

I also LOVE this game. It is in fact my favourite game at the moment, and is a massive improvement from the first one. I really hope that AC3 doesn't take place in WW2, as there are plenty of games like that, and i don't want it to be ALL modern day with Desmond. What appeals to me with the AC franchise is going far back to historical times with Desmond's ancestors. I'm really hoping that the rumour for medieval England is true, because i think it would be great http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think that you will actually play as Desmind in modern times. Anyone who as finished the second game knows that you have all of Enzio's abilities, and get a hidden blade to kill the gaurds with near the end of the game. As for multiplayer, I have no idea how that will work, mabey a thing like Halo's infection games, or something along those lines. Hope this helps.
