This is kind of an off the wall topic but I have been messing around with the colors on my website. I am looking for a more vintage WW II look, so I inverted the text colors and grey scaled the images. I kind of like it but it may be to much of a contrast (but I cant decide). If any of you get a chance please go over and have a look then hit me with some feedback on the colors theme (I can take it) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif

I like it....but i have young eyes and 20/20 vision....the grey text maybe a little to hard to read for some people

for me I prefer more like "paperlook" and Courier ... check our website: http//www.f19vs.se 3 years now....

like the idea with the switcheshttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

PS regarding that video. I still think it is a slap in the face when they use such good sound... darn it... what a difference it would have made with GOOD soundeffectshttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

F19_Orheim,

I think you are right, the currier font looks much more vintage. I really want to keep the dark background though since the whole site is built around that specific color. So, now its just a matter of getting the font color right. I will make some changes and post back.

P.S. Your site is very nice! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Ok, I went back to a medium grey text (lighter) and switched to the currier font.
It now looks a little more vintage, thanks for your input. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Ditch the greens, they don't fit in the old Navy, especially WWII.

You may want to look at carrier colors,

BfHeFwMe,

That was an interesting website. I saved it in my favorites as it might come in handy.
