Hi Oleg&Team

Will we have parallels and meridians on map in BOB? (Instead of numbers and letters).

Thx!

Tactical maps alway have been and will always continue to be broken up into alphanumeric grids. "Grid AC19" is a heck of a lot easier to say than "between 34?15'43" and 34?16'13" N Latitude and 12?59'58" to 13?00'28" E Longitude." I don't really see the problem.

34?16' N and 13?00'E ?. Oh, yes there's the convoy to Malta! Finally we found it! Thanks, now I only need to call the HQ to get their Do 217K-2s loaded with X-1 air-to-ship missiles... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

If you see it as game, than you are right NonWonderDog, but I see it as a sim, and this shoudl be at least an option...

I would like to see both.... just make it toggleable.... even currrent maps in the real world have both. The latlongs are just on the map in a different color from the grid squares.... at least on the ADC road atlas maps.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Do you honestly expect anyone from a community which feels a fuel tank selector is waaaaaay to much detail to agree with you on this?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I'd appreciate a fuel-tank selector. Granted, I could live without it, and there's probably more pressing things to be implemented first (based purely on my own speculation), and it'd confuse a lot of people who struggle with chocks and gunsight dimmers and hand-powered gear retraction, but I'd appreciate it.

Putting lat/long references on a map should be a trivial thing to do.

(And hopefully the map'll be accurate enough that we can use a REAL aviation/WW2 map!)<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I think that the PF maps don't ressemble their real-life counterparts enough for lat/long to be useful.

People would be looking up real terrain features and landmarks, only to find they don't exist on the PF maps.

From the practical standpoint of the pilot, the grid squares are better.

I've been flying with the HUDlog turned off for a while now, and am really enjoying the extra immersion. It's too bad that not all aircraft have enough of the controls modeled to make it possible to do this on all of them. Yes, I too would like to have the ability to select which tank to take fuel from.

Anything that adds to the realism and/or immersion is appreciated by me.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
