Will be my third time in a row, but still haven't decided. What's the best day to go? Saturday or Sunday?

I was there Saturday last year and it'll be Saturday again this year.

Taking something to sit on this though, my feet still haven't recovered from last year.

Is that all? Who else is coming? and what day. Btw1 it seems there is no point booking tickets in advance. It's almost the same price as on-the-day and buying through credit card will probably add another 1 or 2 more. btw2 Three years ago it was 6 pounds for students and seniors. Now it's 25-30 or so.

Some of the Danger Dogz including myself are coming from across the pond. We are checking into the Red Lion in Duxford village on Friday night and staying until Monday morning. We are looking forward to a big night in the pub meeting some of the other Dogz from around the UK, Canada and the US of A. If any of you are around on Friday night, you are more than welcome to join us for a few pints or a wee nip. On Saturday night, we hope to party at the home of one of the local Danger Dogz who lives fairly close to Duxford.

We plan to go to the show on Saturday but will keep Sunday open as an option in case the weather is iffy Saturday. I'd like to go the Imperial War Museum or RAF Hendon on Sunday but I understand that it may be difficult to get to either without your own transport. Or we might wind up sitting outside the Red Lion, sipping pints and watching the aeroplanes fly by. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

We are all buying tickets in advance because we are concerned about the long line ups. I have been to Duxford before but not to an Air Show so I don't really know what we are likely to run in to.

Why? Hendon is in London. Cambridge -> London King's Cross station should be 50mins train, then London King's Cross Station -> Colindale Tube station is about 30 mins by tube. And another 10mins walk to the museum. It closes 6pm, so provided you leave Duxford early you'll have plenty of time.

The Imperial War Museum is a bit boring. Still, if you want to go it's 20 mins by bus from King's Cross train station.

Thanks for the information neural_dream. I may just do that on Sunday. It might depend on my "condition" come Sunday.
