Thanks for your hard work.

Is their a specific time limit we will have in order to test FB 1.1b?

Is their a specific deadline or date we have in order to report all of our findings?

This would be quite helpful to know as some of us have very limited time available, yet would like to assist in the further development of FB.

Thanks again.

Does anyone know how long we will have to test this open beta?

since you know how long it took to get this it's obvious this one should be tested at least as long it was developed...
Right now ppl only post observations about the 1.0 concerns (e.g. FW190 FM etc)
Only sporadically we see real BUGS. Most of the are even cosemtic and don't prevent the game to be used properly.

Most people ask for tweaks and I think for the dev. team they have the lowest priority. Find major Bugs and they will get triggers to fix it, because then "Product doesn't work" gets activated.
Things like "my me262 smokes from wrong hole" is certainly on the bottom of their list. As soon as real ISSUES hit the deck I guess they incorporate the tweaks too.
After all it takes time, money and a lot of work to get the community happy (@OLEG: it's impossible. There's always Bias and always someone thinking to do it better...)
Never forget, that once the game was sold the money came in. Now they're repairing/fixing/tweaking stuff and they know they wont get money for that (ok it's their risk after all but think of morale..) and besides are busy doing other projects so I guess they've only a small amount of time left to take care of an old project if allowed by the prject leaders at all(just talking as an SW developer too..)

Unfortunatelly that's not true. There are quite a lot of errors in FM. Turn radiuses are still too tight on all aircrafts, superclimb ability at stall speeds is still there untouched, also the way higher than max AoA capability together with the lack of straight stall on all planes and so on.

There are some refinaments to add at least in rudimentary form: compressibility effects (I can go supersonic on most late war planes), overG induced fatigue on pilot, not only black/redouts and G-locks, also overstressing the airframe from to many G; a refined effect of ignoring the speed limit in a dive (not immediate structural failure but an ineffectiveness of controls followed by the impossibility to pull out of dive then ultimatelly structural failure) and others.

For all this a deadline will be welcomed.

these are errors yes but they're not SW critical. From SW-Projects PoV bugs are which stop the SW to fucntion.
These are critical errors and have highest priority.
Next are tweaking issues and fixes. Depending on how the priority in their dev. team is they can get major attention like "FM glitches have high priority" then they will be counted as bugs or just as "flaws"...
You certainly can't say "ok game is ok, but it's only 80% realistic so fix it" as I didn't see any claim that they guarantee this to be "100%" true... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I hope you get the point. Of course I wish that they make "THE PERFECT GAME" but if you want to speed things up and make them incorporate fixes for some minor bugs (annoying but not catasrophic bugs) the fastes way would be to find bugs that crash the game or lead to behavior which severly hampers the playability of the game.

Of course it's pain in the ...(<-take any zone of your body which can't take much punishment..) to see supersonic prop-planes or other issues. As long as they're not overall concerning they have very low priority. They will be added on the queue but as long as the trigger "There's a major bug !!" does not pop up you can't expect them to work on this.

The patch is out for just a short time. Possibly not all possible situations have been tested so I guess do something odd. Take I-153 try it against a ME262 in 10.000 alt, put it on finish badges and take yourself american. If this crashes the game (and this should relly crash the game) you have set the big lever and turned on the "rewrite" engine... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

So far, FMs vor individual planes are just interpretation of the authors and all fixes on these are just purely cosmetic.
FM in general depends on how realistic the game was intended. Right now from feeling I'd say some aspects of drag are removed..
