The P-47-N would dominate the skies of FB after the patch. this is the plane we need to match wits with the new TA-152. it would be a close match as the N jug is superhuman up high.

Look in the ORR, I started long ago a thread about the P-47M which flew in Europe and whose performances are even better that the N variant!

Why would you want that plane, Red? You can't modify the FM or avoid FM detection by joining games through the back door and you can't modify the AOW missions, you will use it in, to start with excessive speed or height...etc like you could in Jane's.

Hmmm, looking over the AFJ's "results" in the ADC, I have to laugh my *** off!

Number one, there were about what 4 squads in those tourneys that your squad won, ONLY because the AFJ flew the most number of matches, LOLOLOL!!!

Number two, around that time RedDeth, you were still crying about how hard this game was and how you were having sooooo much trouble. As I recall you didn't even fly a match in ADC, Red. Too busy crying and whining about the game. Those were some fun times shooting you down as you tried to stay high and just fly around attempting to just stay alive, let alone score any kills./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Number 3, the 1 vs 1 section of your ADC was won, not by an AFJ, but by an outside force. How sweet that was!!!!!

So, 11 Championships boils down to this.....

9 Low-life, scumbag cheater Championships in Jane's

2 We-flew-the-most-matches-so-we-win Championships in IL2

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! You guys are awesome!

Th funniest thing Red is nowadays, you claim you're an ace. Yet, you fly one server all the time. I stopped by for a couple of nights at Mastiff's server. LOL, does he even have any MAX LAG settings setup? I doubt it, because Chalice and Murdock are two of the lowest ping warpers ever. I understand though, lack of skill makes a squad desperate. Remember Red, you can't bring up your skill level flying against other easily-downed AFJ on the same server, night after night after night.

I find it funny how the AFJ will only fly on their own server, in their own tournaments and with the same people all the time. Sounds like a squad of weasels, not FighterJocks.

Anyway on topic, I too would love to see bothe "N" and "M" model Jugs here, man they would be a blast to fly and test their mettle in high alt energy fights.

Why would anyone lobby to add a plane just so they can fly it 'no-pit'.
That's like buying a Ferrari so you can drive 20mph.

slickstick is an alias name. obviously someone from the old flight sim who we just pounded so bad they will never forget http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif actually in the AOW matches we had over 500 pilots registered that ACTUALLY flew ! so to say only four squads flew in it is ridiculous. and as for ADC being an outside force? we never had outside pilots fly. ATTENTION all slickstick is an aliaser who will Never tell us his true identity. he is on a squad and will never tell us which one or what his REAL callsign is. i on the otherhand use my real name and fly my real callsign. i dont even alias in flight ever. so slickstick if you ever want to fly with me or against on any server just let me know buddy.im game. .... are you ????

Ok one last time....
Fishing is to catch or try to catch a fish.
Trolling is to fish for by trailing a baited line from behind a slowly moving boat.

It's a numbers game.

Gem,

Did you see the climb rate of the P-39 in my test? It's a sweetheart of a plane now. I find it so easy to knock out Fw190's with it. The 37mm has good punch now.

You'd think I'd be happy, but I always loved the challenge and exclusiveness it brought to those thinking of flying her. In the end, if she gets better I get better, so I'm not going to complain. I just hope, as it gets better it doesn't end up like Yak-3 or BF-109 K4 where everyone and their brother flies it online.

Red, I'm just one of probably a couple hundred still around that know about the AFJ in Jane's AOWs. However, only a handful of us know the E! True Hollywood Story about the AFJ. Don't think you want me to contact the rest for a little history, it wouldn't be pretty.

As for the outside source, I was referring to outside the AFJ. He was registered in the tourney and whupped pretty good, eh? lol.

Oh yeah, what was your ADC record again? 0-0? What a shame the least talented AFJ flyer has the biggest mouth.

I am so glad you said any server. I'm building a beautiful AFJ Proving Grounds 1 vs 1 server for just that occassion. 100% pure aces...a few bases each side....good distance...no flak...and of course tight MAX LAG settings, which since the AFJ is mostly on broadband, this shouldn't present a problem.

We're going to see how well you fly on a tight server Red. Since you like to talk, I figured this challenge would be right up your alley. Look for it over the next couple of days in Hyper, 9PM - 1AM Pacific.

I think it will Gem. I find it easier to get kills with it over the Yak3 or La7. It's still very easy to fly. No stall to speak of. Maybe it will change in final patch.

I'm going to stay true to my '39 regardless (until the '63 comes out. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif )
It would blow chunks if it ends up like that. I may be flying the equivalent of the n00b-3. Only it'd be by chance instead of choice.

What do they have their convergence set too? IMO, if someone is having trouble aiming the 37mm then they should try a convergence of 100 meters. If there is still no change, then they just need more practice. I think the 109 and Yak nose cannons are a little easier to hit with, but I don't like the easy way out, so I feel at home with the '39.
