With each new Assassin's Creed game, I find the level of detail and realism to be evermore astounding.

This may be something minor, but as a practitioner of parkour, weather has a LOT to do with how well an individual can climb, run, vault, or run across a beam in between buildings.

Adding the element of weather, something as simple as rain or even wind could make contracts, missions, and assassinations all the more interesting and challenging. This is something that I've been thinking about since the release of the first game in the series.

What are your thoughts?

I think that the next game should take place in egypt inbetween 1550 BC-1525 BC in the second intermediate period (go here (http://www.scaruffi.com/politics/egyptian.html), here, (http://www.mnsu.edu/emuseum/prehistory/egypt/history/periods/intermediate_2.html) or here (http://www.thebanmappingproject.com/resources/timeline_5.html) to learn why.)Have it to where you can have a two-handed weapon AND a one-handed weapon at the same time. You should also be able to have a spear as your two-handed weapon (you could put two-handed weapons on your back). you should also have it be that you can have dual weildable one-handed weapons and daggers. Insted of having crossbows and guns, you should have bows and arrows. In story mode you should be able to have co-op. You could have it to where the character with the most progress gets secronized to the lesser players memory(so the person who is a head will get more practise and the one who is lower will not see any thing that they have not seen before.)in the story mode you could have an animal companion like an eagle and a wolf and they would be able to to specal things. Have armor and weapones that are more equale but have differant stats or have multipule "perfect" weapones. We also have a story line thought out so if you want to know it contact us.

idk, i dont like the idea of a stealthy kill being left up to chance. it would be better if you were safe from slipping when you walked, slightly higher chance of falling when fast walking, and highest change when running. but i dont want this to be a cycle thing, just for missions...

I like this.

I also think short bursts of running should be safe, maybe a 2 - 3 second warning when you go high profile in wet weather, with a bar which drains while you run, then refills when you're walking. Sprinting you'd be risking a fall immediately.

Also, climbing shouldn't have you risking a fall, but should slow you down, or require more stable handholds than in dry weather, so certain spaces you can climb when dry would have to be worked around in the rain.

EDIT: Actually, if they keep the climbing leap move, that should risk slipping and falling when you're using it in the rain.

Actually, this is the kind of thing I had in mind. A heavy rain, slightly flooded season could easily be implemented into the city of Venice; although, admittedly, I don't know much of the local geography and if such flooding is even possible.

Yeah, I would love this. They were experimenting with rain in one of missions in ACB (it was simply rain but no added difficulty). But I would love it if it started raining and you actually slip on beams or slip off the roof, and you'd have to adapt your approach depending on the weather (preferably random, but would accept some scripted weather.)

i have always wondered why we can't dual wield our sword plus knife/crossbow.. it is probably tough to initiate a system where you can counter plus attack/block at the same with different arms. I do like the hold-x functions, though
