Dr Birger Larsen of the Norsk Luftfartsmuseum in Norway has been generously answering some of my questions about internal design of the Pe-2. As it happens the museum is currently restoring a number of a/c, including a Bf-109, Ju-88 and a Pe-2. The Pe-2 cockpit is pretty much finished.

I hope the other members of this forum will enjoy looking over the museum's website and reading about its projects and exhibitions.

Very interesting reading material... it amazes me how they take a pile of scrap metal that is left of an aircraft and turn it into a museum piece that is flyable. An Incredible amount of work.
