US aircraft with power gun turrets in WWII had "cam locks" to prevent accidental or inept shooting of one's own aircraft fuselage, tail surfaces, etc

Oleg/1C, can this be utilized in FB in future, will it be difficult to do?

this "cam lock" is not the same as a gun synchronization, so nothing to deal with Fokker.

Then still.... Fokker went bankrupt several years ago. So, noone to buy the rights from.

Guess Fokker was a bit too late with claiming rights on games and scale models... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

Implementing fire arcs for AI gunners would be nice 2

4 example IL2 gunner is using his sidearm actively for below 6 shots http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I can't tell you how many times I've wanted an operable side arm, for those times when I'm hanging in my 'chute and being attacked. And also to "deal with" that annoying nancy boy rear gunner when I fly IL2s...
