Came acros this interview.

He talks about the P47I. I wonder how much different it was from the P47D-22 we have in FB.

He says that it's more than a match for the 109 and 190's. I though that was a interesting statement.

That's a typo...Should read "So I would say that the P-47 I finally went down with on July 20, 1944..."

Whilst we are at it.

In this interview he says

"power increase of from 52 inches of mercury to about 72 inches of mercury"

Can someone explain this mercury thing?
