The price in Germany is around 28???. That is even more.

I can understand your opinion, thought.
I suggest you wait for the download version which should be less expensive.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Wait for the price to go down and then get it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif Heck I put almost fifty bucks worth of gas in my truck this morning lol! I'll get years of entertainment with what I spent on 46 than what I spent on the gas. I for one love the idea of having just one big CD with the whole show on it. As for us being beta testers I'm all for it. I hope I live to see a day when it's difficult to tell reality from fantasy. The only way to go forward is to keep improving the product and learning about what works and what doesn't. I say full steam ahead!

A speck of dirt on your windscreen could turn into an enemy fighter in the time it took to look round and back again. A little smear on your goggles might hide the plane that was coming in to kill you.

50 U.S. bucks for what is basically a compilation with a fantasy add-on

Buy or don't buy...its no-ones business but your own what you spend your hard earned dollars on...heaven knows there are enough other calls on our wallets at this time of year!
But I don't think its fair to dismiss it as a fantasy add on...
Just because everyone on the forums seems to be getting their knickers in a twist about the 1946 stuff...don't forget that there is alot of real content too...that i for one am looking forward to...
Burma & Kiev maps (oh boy I can't wait for some Kohima & Imphal mission!) plus you'll need 4.07 to get Ian Boys Norway map in the 4.o8 expansion...
Lots of great Japanese stuff...Ki27's, Ki22's, A5M's plus a flyable George, a glass nosed A20 and more!
To me its definately worth the price of a night out on the beers...when the postman finally decides to bring it!

why not just buy the 406 and 407 downloads when they become available... I really don't think those will cost 50 bucks.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

If you really believe that the price is the real reason, you are quite naive indeed http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

I'm going to voice my opinion about something but having voiced it, and telling you I'm voicing it, I want no comment because it's my opinion. Besides, I don't care if you don't like my opinion, which is why I'm posting it on a public forum: so the whole world can see that I don' care if you don't like my opinion, my opinion being opinionated.

For as much as I rag on Maddox, $50 is just not that much given the amount of time that's spent playing the game. Also, much has been provided at no cost so this nominal charge will be useful in funding the long-term support that the game deserves (and requires).

I just saw yesterday, that the asymmetric recoil of F4F-4 is indeed corrected. So it seems that the guns are de-sycnhed as requested by the community earlier AND no gun recoil yaw is present anymore in the '46 DVD. I thought this would matter to the players in the US. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
