Hi all, first post on the forum, but I dont know
if the question has been asked before, I have
trawled through old posts but cant get the answer I was
looking for. Question is = How do you jettison the
bombs manually, I cant seem to find a key allocation for
it.Currently working my way through the He 111 training
campaign and I'm on the mission which you have to torpedo
the convoy in bad visibility so you can't line up on a target from a long way out, so the bombsight crosshairs don't appear. I guess the only way is to drop manually?
Is there a method of low level attacks?. I also read on this forum that if using normal bombs you can drop 1 pair them the second pair in a different attack? or did I read it wrong?, How is this atcheived? Great game but the manual could be a bit better.

Thanks for any replies.

No really, if you can't find the button for realising the bombs, I would most certainly go into the manual of, the quick reference card. Or even in the controls menu to look for the asignments.

Or am I saying something strange?

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye
shall be judged: and with what
measure ye mete, it shall be
measured to you again.

Yea read the manual and besides that your wasting your time cause when your ready you won't be flying that plane online which is where you need to be to get the best experience the game has to offer.

Why not?

Online, I find myself flying those German bombers almost half the time, especially if the mission can be won by bombing some targets. It's just so refreshing to do something other than just dogfighting for every now and then.

Besides, flying a bomber mission trying to avoid flak or enemy fighters is just so much more tense than pulling g's in a Yak...

Go to mudmovers.com for a good tutorial. I fly online all the time and it is easy once you know how. Your crosshairs will not appear if you aircraft is not level, map the "level stabilization" key to keep plane level on bombing runs as well you have to map out all the bombing keys to get it right:

-altitude adj
-TAS adj
-atitude of onocular sight
-windage
-bomb automation

You'll figure them out with the tutorial, it's not an easy task considering you have to make it there in the first place. If you go online to bomb take off from far away and climb to at least 5000m, most enemy will leave you alone at that altitude.

I await the graph, never have time to add 1% to every 100m or is it 1000m? See, I need the graph to know this stuff, the bombadier would have a chart with his stuff so where is mine?
