Hi all.. can anyone recommend some good video settings for this card? I just got FB (never played it Pre-Patch) and I've been fooling around in there trying to get a decent setup. Custom Video & Sound, with Excellent settings. DirectX seems to be smoother.

My rig:
P4 2.4b
512mb PC2700
Radeon 9500 Pro 128mb
Turtle Beach Montego II

It seems ok the way I have it now, but I'm curious to see what other tweaks you all have found useful since the patch that might make it a bit better.

I get lock ups in the FB 1.1b version with their 8500 and Cat 3.6 combo.

My lockups are random and I think that I got it stable by using the custom settings and disableing all extensions in the FB settings. DirX in FB 1.1b is dog slow to me.

Any other obversations or suggestions?

Interesting... I'm using Cat 3.6 too, with DirextX 9.0a. OpenGL seemed to stuter for me, but I found an app running in the background (I think it was OPWARE.exe - something for my Canon scanner) that I didn't need and it seemed to be causing the stutter. It was as if it was polling the system or something. But I had since switched to DirectX by the time I figured this out, so I guess I should go back in and test with OpenGL again. More testing...

Greetings!
I have 9500 Pro; 1024MB RAM; AMD Athlon 1900+ (1.6G).
1C suggested using CATA 3.4 drivers because of known issues with 3.6. I haven't had any problems related to the vid card with 3.4 driver package and I run everything (in game) at max. Might give it a try.
