Holy Moly, SkyChimp! It looks like "Crimson Skies The Movie"!!!! I'll definitely be seeing this one . . . and, yeah, a nudie scene with Angelina would be an absolute bonus!

Thanks for the heads-up

weee! P-40 vs. Hordes of giant alien ROBOTS!!!!!

AWESOME!!

You know, we should have a New York map in FB. Imagine a lowlevel dogfight in the streets of New York. If you were good, you could evade the enemy by flying through the city. THAT would be fun.

With Angelina Jolie, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow, the script will tell the tale...if the script and story SUCK, so goes the movie...

How could they possibly screw up a movie with a plot like that?

Are you expecting historical performance from the P-40?

It's like a 1930s/40s "Invaders From Mars" comic books story.

Jolie naked? Pffff...I want Gwyneth!

With her and a P-40, there's not way it can suck.

Ok, I forgot Jude Law is in it, so it has a good chance of sucking.

When do we get the flapping wings? They look undermodeled on the trailer....

Is this based on an old comic book or is it an attempt to harken back to one? It could be an interesting movie or a totally aweful one.

You gotta take the movie for what it is. It looks like a tribute to the 1940's serials. If you can't appreciate that, then it probably will suck.

actually I dig old comix...read "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay" by Michael Chabon (the guy who wrote "The Wonder Boys" and the screenplay for Spiderman2...Alfred Molina as Dr. Octopus...hehe). This is great novel on the origin of the comic book circa 1940...soon to also be a movie starring Adrian Brody as Kavalier!

It appears Oleg and Co. must have provided input to the movie makers for modeling that p40. Amazing stuff.

Looks very cool, got that retro thing going for it, but what's with the "Stargate: SG-1" background music?

Personally, I DO find the idea of an ace P-40 pilot with a British accent a little offensive. Where's John Belushi when we need him?
