Just thought I might share it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Me and my wingman in model k's take a head on pass out of the sun at some 17's.

here we go. I get some cannon hits on the second 17's engine.

One pass and through. First time I did this I was hit by "sniper gunners" can you believe it! A closing speed of probably 600 mph and out of the sun to boot!

can't even figue out how the turrets track you at this speed? Firing at the third ship.

The silicon brain of AI gunners are not disturbed by small nuisances, like the pilot pulling Gs, -54 Celsius subzero temperature, gun recoil, turbulence, fear of being hit, and finally, they give a damn about the sun, they never watch, they all listen to their 6th sense and use "the force".

Now, that being clear, is there any thing extraordinary in those pics? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

stalkervision, those Mustangs where from AI ?

I love high altitude missions on the western front. sad is that most hosts of coop missions don't use them. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Yup, vet AI buddy. I absolutely love high altitude missions too. That is where the 109's "shine"! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Btw. the Mustangs didn't do too bad in earlier missions agains't me and neither did my ai wingman. In fact he actually shot a Mustang off my tail for once. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif That was a very nice change of pace.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

There is always a critic in the bunch huh Ronzoni ? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I'd post my latest BOB/SOW missions but unfortunately it isn't out yet.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I will tell you what is "extraodinary" buddy. Actually making it through a head on and then a rear attack pass without a scratch! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/partyhat.gif

maybe you think it was because I flew to near the 17's so they couldn't get a clear shot? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

I didn't think a 109 could out climb a P-51??

STARTING AT THE SAME SPEED - A contemporary BF109 should easily outclimb a P51.

The BF109 and the Spit are the best climbers of WW2, usually fighting for fastest climb between versions.

The P51 was an average to good climber depending on the height, the Bf109 was an outstanding climber, whatever the height.

Of course if you add in a P51 with more energy, attacking in a zoom climb then its quite possible for the P51 to out climb the Bf109 by using its energy sensibly. However all things being equal, I believe the same period Bf109 will always outclimb the P51.

I was using the leightened K-model. It climbs real well. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

One can also go into a tight spiral climb with just about any 109 and out climb a Mustang.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hey, if I might suggest, check out Mat Manager. It's a must. You can get it at M4T.
