Hi,

I am a new owner and user of IL-2. My main executable doesn't give a version number, and the setup.exe gives a version of 1.0.0.1. From all that I assume that I need to get ALL patches.

However, I only have a dialup connection, so I cannot download these patches?

Does anyone know of a site where I can purchase a CD with all of the patches?

Thanks for any help!

I don't think there is a CD out there you can get.

If you can take back IL-2 and get the upgrade Forgotten Battles. It has all of the updates.

Here is the updates for the orignal game

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the ideas. I found this site where you can have the patches burned onto a CD for a tiny fee plus shipping:

The other option is to find someone in your
squad, or whatever, with a broadband connection
and get them to burn you a copy. I'm prepared to
download it at work and burn copies for people
as long as it doesn't become a full time job,
and provided they pay me for CD and postage.

Hi,

Thank you for your KIND offer!

Since I originally posted my note, however, I found a website (see where I posted that reply of mine) which would burn a CD with any patches I wanted for a nominal sum, plus shipping and handling.

In case something happens to that process, however, I will be sure to contact you! Thanks again.

My email address is: bbriley@highstream.net.

How can I contact you directly, if need be?

Thank you for the other CD-burning link! This must be new thing on the internet, that game sites offer CD-burning services.

Most software distributors will mail you updates if you call thier tech support number and request it.

I'm not sure about Ubi Soft though. They aren't exactly 'customer oriented'.
