I've been away for awhile and I see that a new add-on is available. However, the only place I have seen it available is on the Ubi UK site. Is this the only site that it can be purchased from? No US Ubi store option? And if so, how do my U.S. dollars pay for a download that is priced in pounds?? Confusing to me as I am sure it was to many others. Thanks.

Here is a link to purchase Pe2 add on http://il2pe-2.download-the-game.com/
This is from the bootny main site. Click on the English flag, then you will be directed to the download site. You are asked to type in your e-mail twice then you download the program. You pay for it after the install. You should read the forums about the Pe2 problems and fixes. It requires you to have a credit card. The cost is in pounds. 7.95 I believe. They bill your credit card for the cost in Dollars. It is around $14.00 US. It would of been nice if the worldwide distibution stated it cost X amount. I have read that others have had problems because a specific site sent them to a french download which was 14.00 somthing in Euros. Then the instuctions were in french as well. If you are woried about your credit card then I would suggest purchasing a Visa gift card. That way nothing more can be charged than whats on it. Some sites still will bill your card in pounds or whatever and your card carrier has to straighten out the bill. This is not a major point but check your billing statement. Thats about all I can tell you. Mabey someone else has a better idea. The best way to tell how much somthing overseas will cost is use a free currency converter on the web.
Good luck I hope this helps. I hope the UBI store will set it up for billing in dollars.
That cost money, and the conversion from pounds to dollars is somthing some companies don't want to deal with. S! _AH_BlueKestral

There are 13 pages of instructions! Ubi & Boonty have got to be kidding. I keep thinking I'll get this--I really want it, but must it be this hard? This just scares me off.

Aircargoo,
Thank you for taking the time to explain this so clearly. I printed it and may consider risking it, but it's a lot to cope with.
