i saw this and was wondering if it was any good , it uses a webcam to control the scanning
any thoughts guys ?

i use Freelook, http://www.freelook.org same concept, good enough

never heard of track light, any link?

Maybe you can be a bit more specific on what you acually mean? Do you mean to Cam2Pan? Or what?

rnzoli thats the very thing basicaly all you are buying is a baseball cap with an led fitted , i think i'll give the freelock a go and see how it is , thanks mate

The "mouse look" apps. like freelook don't work for me. I find the precision to be poor and it gets off center very quickly. The TrackIR isn't perfect either but it's much better.

It does - I have a finger over re-center key all the time and use it everytime I turn my head back straight. The only advantage of Freelook is that it costs almost nothing.

ok i went for the cam2pan and it works fine untill i start up the game where it lasts for about 5 secs then stops panning any ideas triggerhappyfin ?

also now the hat switches on my x45 are working randomly , works fine on start up then freezes http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
