I think you're right.

Lots of missions though. I guess it's just a conglomoration of mission addons.

Too bad, I thought it was something official at first

I think that even though we are talking about a private commercial venture here, it looks like a very good thing. If someone wants to take the time to do all this, then market it correctly, then why not reward them for their efforts and buy it? It seems from the thread that the creators are all long-time IL2 pilots/fans, and I am sure that it would be worthwhile, so I may just have to get it. God knows that I need all the help that I can get.

yea, it's only $20, and direct download after buying. If I didn't have a million missions to play through still in FB I'd buy it right away.

Ya, sometime ago when original IL2 came out, someone (can't remember name) put together a bunch of homemade missions on a cd and sold them in the same manner.

For someone like me who is "building-challenged", its nice to have.

HOWEVER

there are so many kind folks out there who make the missions and distribute them freely, why would you want to buy them?

Guess it's a way of saying thank you for doing it but then again, Jiri does him thing (hl) for free (although many have sent him donations out of the goodness of their hearts).

Basically, you are donating a **requested** amount to the designer.

I'm 99% sure that it is NOT UBI- or Oleg-sponsored.

It's probably one of those Barbarossa types of add ons that are not official but are commercial use sold for just a few new missions. Not too promising.
