I got this a couple of weeks ago, it cost me only a couple of quid!
If you take alook at the title page you can see the year in question, 1944 and at the top a past owner has taken the time to write his name claiming his ownership of the said book...

I think he had this in or about the year 1955 by the fact that he has stuck some other booklets about 'Jet - Propelled Aircraft' and another one titled 'The Jet Age'This one published on the year mentioned above.
I don't think Mr Edward Wood was very old at the time he aquired the book as he has had a splendid time colouring in all the photos in crayon... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

Still, it's a nice little acquisition to the collection dispite the previous owners artistic flare!

One thing though...Where did they get all the details of the then enemy Aircraft? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

I sometimes find that the best books are the oldest ones. They are also much cheaper, you can find them at second hand stores. Also the data is often more detailed.
