I remember when a game came on a floppy or two.

Later on they filled up a CD or two.

Then a DVD.

But HOLY CR@P! I'm just D/Ling the Hellgate London DEMO and it's 1493.5 MB. Zipped!!!

Gotta get me one of those new terabyte drives http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Don't know why they don't use torrents instead. Makes more sense with these monster downloads http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

TB is a waste of money atm, imho. I picked up a couple of recertified WD 500GB drives for $100 apiece at Newegg. I have 1.375TB now. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

lmao...I remember when I got a hard drive in my 486 DX2-66 that had 480mb! I also remember saying..."I'll NEVER fill this thing up".

How ignorant I was back then.

Have that problem since the 80's.
When I wrote my own wargames in a MSX64 I had a massive 23kB of space to use, and I always ran out of it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif

Heck, that's nothing, I DL's the entire IL-2 1946 last week and it was 3.5Gb!!! Our very own sim was that big!! I already had the DVD which I bought but never got it going due to securom issues. So I bought it twice!! Anybody want a copy of 1946 on DVD in the original box??

Anyway that whole 3.5 gig DL took me about 4 hours to DL on a wireless to cable modem set up.

If you live in the states and only care about the states, you can easily install only a 10th of that.

Who needs scenery for the entire world anyway?? It would be a waste of HD space if you never flew the entire globe at low level or landed at every airport.

Look with the bloated size of some operating systems now on the market (Big Hint here fellas) Hard drive size is a no issue thing these days!

Terrabyte on one drive no problem! http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?locale=en-US&name...0aRCRD&reqPage=Model (http://www.seagate.com/ww/v/index.jsp?locale=en-US&name=barracuda-es-2-sata-3-0-gb/s-1-tb-hard-drive&vgnextoid=481e83de34b43110VgnVCM100000f5ee0a0aRCRD&vgnextchannel=b655f141e7f43110VgnVCM100000f5ee0a0a RCRD&reqPage=Model)

You just need to dump the garbage and make better use of your drive.....After all, ahem, it's not the size of your drive yet how you use it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Graphics- WOW http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Stability- So so http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Gameplay- Meh http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
