Been watching a lot of il2 vids on YouTube. Wondererd if I could do one using the freeware version of FRAPs and the default Windows Movie Maker. Wondering is over. Here is my very first, and only to date, video attempt. Hope y'all enjoy it.

And Bill, it was a fair fight http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Nice http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif - how did you get rid of the Fraps logo on the original capture?

Never had the logo. Should there be one? the version I have is 1.9D. Have had it since January 2004.

Ah, my version (2.7.4) puts a little Fraps white text in the top middle of the screen a little distracting. Never mind, might have a go now that you've inspired me.

Use Virtualdub and then just crop the image.

Thank you sir. The process is a little cumbersome but it is an enjoyable passtime. May have to invest in some of the "fancy" editing software if my interest holds.

Hey Willy what version of that song did you use? I used to have that one but everytime I try to buy one it ends up being either some stupid techno-ish remix or it's the real original, with the background instruments sounding a little lackluster.

It's off a CD titled ELV1S 30 #1 Hits. The sleeve for the case is golden in color. Example of it is here (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://store.countrymusichalloffame.com/site/files/cm/products/elvis30number1_main.jpg&imgrefurl=http://store.countrymusichalloffame.com/store/product.aspx%3Fprod_id%3D206%26catid%3D8&h=147&w=150&sz=3&hl=en&start=217&tbnid=sEPnXBqZR8AJRM:&tbnh=94&tbnw=96&prev=/images%3Fq%3Delvis%2Bcd%26start%3D200%26ndsp%3D20% 26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN)
