Do you guys think this game will have some kind of bosses? How do you think they would do it and do you really want bosses in the game?

They'll probably be some very significant targets that'll you'll need to assassinate under some tough circumtances, such as guards, area, target itself, and other objectives.

If you listen to the Dev diaries you will hear that there ane 9 main targets that you have to assassinate. Along side that there are help and rescue missions as well as stealing. So there are no bosses just the cricumstances in which you will assassinate these 9 targets will get harder and more complex.

there are boses. 9 of them. everytime you assassinate someone i guess that would be a boss. i mean would you think a boss would be some kind of superhuman.... cmon this is based on true, real events.

I've watched every video about this game. I'm not talking about the 9 key targets that you have to take out, so don't talk to me like that. i'm just as excited about this game as you are. I'm just wondering if you think tht, besides the 9 targets, they will try to find a way to imcorperate bosses into the game. I don't think they will, and I hope they don't. I just want to kill my people and figure out the storyline.

I think as u get further assassinating these targets more and more guards will guard them trying to protect them ontil the very last 1 and probably u will need to go by night i assume. That would be cool night time ssassination. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Get a grip.. You can kill off the entire population of Jerusalem if you want to, but that's not the point of this game now is it..

For starters "nitendo for kids". Ha. Like we've never heard that before, really nice argument, kiss my and nintendo's arse.... and plus... even the games for kids are fun http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Anyway - I reckon 'boss'' could be interesting, not as in boss'; yay i killed ganondorf kind of stuff. What if there were boss objectives... uhm.. for example somebody hires an assassin to assassinate you! And you have to run away from, trick and assassinate the assassin? That kind of thing.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hitman Blood Money had a handfull of bosses, but they were not the "shoot them 10 times in the face and they still walk"-kind of bosses.

Your ideas never stop to amaze me, you should work for Ubi!

A mini guard, simply briliant. They hang on to your legs so you can't move. And you can only defeat them by tapping them on the back of the head.

No, I don't want to see bosses in this game. Because bosses usually have are so healthy that it takes 145673 strikes to kill them, something that never fits this game.

BUT, they can put some guards or targets which are extra-skilful with blades and are extra-hard to kill.

Plus, I just think that "Bosses" is an old tradition now, and somehow, stupid.

Wait wait wait, what the hell do bosses and Nintendo have in common? Not all Nintendo games have bosses, and not all games with bosses are made by Nintendo. Having bosses doesn't make a game less mature, having tons of useless blood and the ability to kill anyone you want for no reason does. This isn't Grand Theft Auto, I believe the Devs them self stated that you cannot kill innocent people. Who ever said that games that kids as well as adults can play are bad?

Anaconda did make a good point though, you cannot have the super overpowered boss in this game, seeing as how Altair himself dies in one good hit. So I we should change the ideas of bosses to very difficult scenarios.

I think in this game, "Bosses" would simply be someone who not only is wearing some armor, but is also skilled with a blade and really observant, so it would be difficult to sneak up on him, and more difficult to defeat him one on one, but I don't think ANYONE in this game should be able to survive a knife in the neck, like in some friggin' games where you put a shotgun shell in their face at point blank range and they barely even flinch
