(Destroyerman): how difficult will it be to dock the sub? Will there be rocks and shoals around the harbours? Turning in confined spaces, and damage to sub on hitting the harbour wall. This could add a whole new dimension to the game similar to the perils of landing in a flight sim.

DevTeam: Manually entering or exiting the harbor will be an option, rather than a requirement. In real life tugboats were handling the docking of the U-Boat. For the time it still under consideration how we'll treat this in our game. Anyway we want to offer the player at least a welcoming to remember €" fanfare, nurses, docks, etc.

To be fair I think a Tug towing me in would be fine, just as long as it was not to repetitive looking with small changes here and there like different tug€s and layouts of harbours.

With the tug doing all the work I could sit back and enjoy. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Although I do see that some might like to bring there own craft in.

I'll let the tugs work, as I hate parking.

Docking might be cool, but the reality is a tug usualy met you at the entrance of the harbour to guide you in.

The harbour 'pilot' would board your vessel before entering the harbour, he would 'drive' the vessel with the assistance of a tug/s.

I think people will get very upset when they keep crashing if the difficulties of manouvouring a long vessel is accurately represented. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif

As long as its not my wifes face cos if so I would send the game straight back.

A bulldog chewing a wasp comes to mind when I think of her.
