For a NVIDIA GeForce2, I see this problem with altimeter of the He-111s for the drivers 32.20, 45.33 and 53.03.

In "He-111H-6, 1941" autopilot fire with this gunner. But, when I take the control, how I fire with it? I don't see any option for this.
Please, make an option to enable the swastika without the use of an external utility.

Forests from a high altitude have a good 3D effect, but at low altitude the forests are horrible. Please, correct this. I think which five or more layers to do a 3D effect isn't a good idea. There are other methods more efficient for this using an unique layer to save framerate.

He-111 gunner thing must be something on your system. I have no troubles.

Cockpits on external models don't need extreme amounts of detail. In a high speed pass or even if level flight there is virtually no way I'm going to be looking for a flight stick. Sorry, not worth the extra polys when they can be used elsewhere on the model.

Forests are achieved because they use a 2D system which looks great except from head on. If you were running in perfect mode, which a GeForce 2 cannot, then you would have other tree's around the forest which helps.

Increasing the detail of the forests to the levels of other tree's would mean a hit on framerates. Test the Pacific dogfight map to see what everyone else knows to be true.

Forest issue a very small price to pay for very nice ground details when viewed from above and acceptable frame rates.

The Swastika will never be enabled as an option within Il2. Reason being that the imagery of the Swastika is stilli illegal in many European countries, and if it were included, even as an option, Maddox Games could not sell software in those countries. I am sure someone will have some flame to this, but I am simply stating fact, not giving my opinion of it. Thats just the way it is.

You can do plenty of searching on this.

As for the trees, I wish that they would include a "wrap around" sprite, that gave the EDGES of the forests some kind of graphic instead of them being totally invisible. Its not like you can get down into the middle of the forest anyway. Just a simple texture wrapped around the edge of all the forests wouldn't drop FPS anymore than if you were looking at a bit more forest.

But, the rest of the complaints are a bit too nit picky. I couldn't care less if the Lagg pilot doesn't look like he has a control stick. You know, there was once a time when you didn't even get to see pilots in the aircraft.. We used to turn the graphics all the way down to 0 when flying Fighters Anthology (way back before even CFS1).. Just imagine /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif hehe

Well he also has a good point as far as the early IL-2 and the Mig3U go: They still have the same old IL-2 cockpits, but compared to most all of the other planes, their detail is very sub-par, about 5 years old, sub-par.

IL2 FB v RC01

He111 H2/6 Altimeter gauge is bugged graphically, the nose gunner stations are correct as the He111 H2 7.62mm was offset to the right slightly affording a left firing position better than the right, the He111 H6 20mm was central. 20mm tail canon was remotely operated by the crew but is not avaliable to us virtual pilots AI only /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif , would be nice to see it work with the ventral or top gunner station.

Why don't you help the very few of us who are trying to talk about *REAL* flight sim gaming issues like AI seeing through clouds or AI seeing at night.

This mass hysteria about the tiniest microscopic grafix detail a player *never* sees while playing the game is freaking bizzare.

I didn't find any real bug.
Comment for the tail gun of He-111. It hadn't any position for control, It was fixed cannon controlled from other place /i/smilies/16x16_robot-happy.gif . In real life it was controlled by "distance button" of top gunner. We model it a AI only.
He 111 nose gun movement - its limited by the head of gunner. But the gun can move more than the head. Clear?
We will never do the swastika enabled option. It is porhibited by the laws in many contries.

GF2 - you have low memory. So the texture memory can't handle the whole amount of textures.
