I want to know...is there a TRUE story behind the main player? or is it fantasy? if there is a true story behind i would love to read from a link.

It is fantasy although it is based on real events and real people who died during that era.

Hey, in the article in "Aftermath", it says Richard I The Lionheart died of a crossbow bolt wound...Do u think that the crossbow might make it into an AC sequel?? It never actually says who kills him, so there's a little bit of "openness" for such a sequel in which altair sets out to kill Richard(After all, he did profit from the war)...

I'm pretty sure that the sequels for this game will be set in the future (near our time) but I remember watching one of the dev diaries and Jade mentioned that there are some people during the crusades that died mysteriously, who knows, maybe we'll be able to kill Richard the Lionheart in the game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

jade say'd something about those people lived and died in the time the game takes place but no assassination took place that they know of...
