Watch the vid and wait for the third pass... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

There will never be anything to match the gut wrenching feeling of raw power of this Beauty though... If you've never seen one for real I pity you for being born to late... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
The only thing that can beat the emotive feeling it gives is perhaps a Shuttle launch...

Very, very, very cool plane. One of those and a Vulcan and you'd have yourself quite an airshow.

What a monster. Saw one fly at a 2002 airshow in Edmonton, it was at least as loud as a B1-B. I'm really glad I took the kids to see it.

When I was 5 I saw one take off on a school trip to Heathrow (we were on the roof so we got a good look, flipping loud)

Saw them a couple of times since then, but on the day of the last ever flight, I actually heard it go past, but was in the bathroom at the time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Am I the only one who was waiting for the announcer to say "Ah em coming for you, Reecky Bobby?"

Seriously, as a Yank who's seen the Concorde a time or two, I'm still more impressed with the B-1B in a low pass, although otherwisw I have to agree with the fellow who reveres the Vulcan.

cheers
