Why not?

I have been using it as a flyable AI on one of my maps online and it is an interesting looking and capable aircraft. It has a usefull payload and loadouts, not a bad turn of speed, and fair defensive armament. It would ad some flexability to the VVS in the East, and it is a dead ringer for the Mitsubishi "Betty". Which is how I use it.

Thoughts?

I asked this several months ago, and I think the reason I was given was a lack of data to satisfy Oleg. Personally, I'd like it, and the IL-10 to be flyable. I'd enjoy those more than the new fighters.

bump to this all ai need to become flyable, even if pits arent exact down to every gauge, they can always be fixed if data ever comes up.
I mean really half the fuel and temp gauges dont work in alot of aircraft and thats the most important guages besides the compass rudder altimeter and artificial horizon.

All the users want the ai flyable but oleg doesnt if guages dont have exact writing I wish he'd give in, its such a waste of such good models

Yep. Even CEM cuts corners, and it often that seems many planes turns are auto coordinated. With these kind of allowances, I don't see much of an argument for lack of realism when modeling some AI planes.

The Il4 sounds good and the soviets need a good bomber quickly. I have been shot to bits in all the TB-3s. Even if it is not totaly acurate it is still good.
