Which plane do you think that will use on cover of never-know North Africa/Med Campiage?

My guess will be Spitfire? or Gladiator? M.C.200?

bout the only use for the 9DD with all that range will be to chase P51's around an extended Finland map http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

i would vote for a Gloster Glad. over Malta first up .. or a Swordfish if it makes it into the sim .. something that will stand out

otherwise 109's over the desert ...

Something like this

http://m2reviews.cnsi.net/scotts/books/mc202bbook.jpg

Ironically, the spitfire in that pic, a Mk.V/trop was used by the Italian Co-Belligerent airforce after the surrender.
So an italian macchi pilot dogfights that plane, later fights against the germans flying that one, weird. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'll put my order in now for a shiny new Spitfire.

Me-109 was sort of already in. Just select a plane that hadn't release. Any new flyable plane. Mostly like is Spitfire. Anyone disagree or agree? (mumbled myself "maybe Glaitor because of it's history fierce defend Malta against Axis's repeat raiding")

and to the plane-list:

Don`t forget the french fighters!

Not 100% sure if they served there but if they did I would love to see a Hawker Typhoon and Tempest.

Here is a great quote:

"Reaching Newchurch airfield at 480 mph I held "RB" down to 20 ft from the runway and then pulled her up to a 60 ? climb holding it as the speed dropped slowly off and the altimeter needle spun round the dial as if it were mad. At 7000 ft the speed was dropping below 180 mph and I rolled the Tempest lazily inverted, then allowed the nose to drop until the horizon, at first above my head, disappeared below (or rather above) the now inverted nose, the fields and woods steadied into the centre of the windscreen and then whirled around as I put the stick hard over and rolled around the vertical dive. Steadying again I pulled out over the tree tops at 500 mph, throttled back and pulled hard over towards the airfield in an over-the-vertical climbing turn, lowering the wheels and flaps in a roll as the speed dropped. What a magnificent aeroplane! They could have all their Spitfires and Mustangs!"
("My part of the sky", Roland Beamont)

I WANT ONE NOW !

Even flew off carriers, although I don't know if that was in the Med theatre.

Swordfish because of Italian "Pearl Harbor attacking" that what Japanese learned to follow British's method how torpedoes boats in shallow water. Maybe but I hadn't heard anyone model it yet.

To RAF74Buzzsaw_XO, List of planes won't fit to cover of gamebox. Try select one or two (second one will be shot down plane)

Yes, Yellow 14 are so beauiful but already "used" I think Oleg or marketing team prefer use plane that hadn't release or never flyable yet. Same thing for Kittyhawks. Maybe someone in marketing team said "We already used British plane then why not use Italian plane because of "Forgetten" Italian air force in many plane simulations. So I vote M.C.200 or G.50
