I have ben reading on the Antons lately and was surprised why there are no torpedo capabilities in the game. RLM even made designations for the FW torpedo carriers like Fw 190A-5/U14/U15 etc.

Granted we dont need to model or implement the ETC 501/502/503 racks or even model the LTF5b torpedo and much more so for the so called 'bomben-torpedos' (BT) like BT 200,BT 700 and BT 1400. We could have just used the existing torpedos used by the Beaufighter.

a lot of "things" , even combat proven ones, are NOT in game.....................

and these torpedo Fw190s are realy non combat proven stuff http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
ok, we have also fantasy stuff IN game ( http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif )................ wast of time (<-personal opinion)

it is like it is.

i would change any Fw190 Torpedo for a Fw190 with Panzerblitz rockets anyway http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Well the panzeblitz would probbaly require new modeilng and even programing but adding the existing torpedoes functionality to the FW190 probbaly wont need much lines of code and certainly not anymore 3d modeling.

Look at this -

and certainly not anymore 3d modeling.

It needs a new tail wheel to carry the torpedo... aka "new 3d model"

Considering we already have the R4M racks and rockets modeled for the 262 and 183 it seems it would be easier to put the Panzerblitz in (not that either is happening but your reasoning is specious)

Hmm a longer tail wheel surely would not amount to much modeling.

As for the R4M i don't know the Panzerblitz seems larger than those R4M's.

I do would want to see a more complete load out for the FW 190 specially since it had a RLM designation.

The Panzerblitz 1 was pretty much a battery of four Panzerschreck launch-tubes, the Panzerblitz 2 was the body of a R4M with a hollow-charge warhead.

I seem to remember at some point in the patches that the Ju-87 could carry torpedoes. Or am I crazy?

perhaps there was a WIP picture in the ancient past, like a torpedocarrieng Ta152C.

but in game, the was never a torpedo Ju87.
