I heard about a man who knows someone who has a brother who thinks that Bf 109 and FW 190 are much too good. I think that are enough arguments to give the FMs of these two planes a "little fine tuning"

Yes Manuc

And those tough 190 are still too tough. I needed over a 1/2 second burst to shred both wings of a 190 with my 6x0.5". That seems to long to me.

Hi,

Before you do that, Oleg, please remove the Saturn V stage 1 from all P51s.

Cheers,
Norris

Obviously the first post was joke.

Still, would be fitted better on the General forum so this place would be a little cleaner and better commited to its real purpose.

Perhaps, perhaps. But I've seen much dumber stuff that was serious so we'd better make fun of it just in case! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Hm and 1 20mm bullet to kill a FW190 from 700m are way to much, why i need 20mm i I learned from a colleague of my grandpa the 1 7.92mm was enough to kill a FW190 from 1km without problems

Hehe, while we're at it, how about the removal of those nasty mk 108 cannons? Heck, why don't you remove ALL weapons from the 109s and 190s, along with their armor?

I think Manuc just scored some points for the "Troll of the Year" award http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif .

Yeah, those danged Luftwaffle planes are so fecking tough! Everybody knows that a kick in the shin should blow a Fw-190 up! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Oh yes, please make the LW-Planes less tough. It makes me nervous when a bullet fly by and it's gravity doesn't cause a stall.

Btw...fire Youss. His bad advice made you model the LW-Planes too agile and stable. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Still getting things working here on this new site. lol.

Anyway, the original poster is correct. I was flying against a 109-f4 in a Lagg 3, he got on my six. "No prob," I thought, "I`ll just outturn him,"
To me surprise he turned and turned and kept turning with me! Refusing to believe he could keep with me I kept turning- till he shot me down! what the?!
I flew a couple of offline Campaign missions against the AI and where they would usually stall out and be forced to break off, now they keep with me on continuous turns!
The F4 COULD NOT do this before! What`s happening? Is this accurate? Ever since IL2, the F4 was a B&zer with maybe a `bit` of turn. It could never sustain a long turn like it now can with 1.21. How could there be such a large change in this plane?

The point is valid. I`ve flown FB a looong time and the F4`s turning ability has been improved in a big way. I don`t normally complain about FM`s, but I cannot help but notice the F4`s new turning ability.

It certainly alters the whole dogfighting tactics now. I just don`t get such a big change.

Sorry, but the F4 has ever been a very good Turnfighter -it was the most agile Warbird for a long time on LW-Side. Now it turns as bad as never before http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif. I prefer (in 1.21!) the E4/7 in turnfights instead of F4. But -if available- i'd use the G2 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I like FB 1.21 more than any other version of this game/sim, except the durability of the Bombers. I'm not (anymore http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) a Luftwhiner, just making jokes for noobs http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

F-4 is a turn-fighter and a good one at that. What you should be complaining about is the abnormal turn-rate at low speeds of the G-2 - it's as good as, if not better than, the F-4 and that just can't be right.

Oh, and congrats on the troll-award eh. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I haven`t got round to the G-2 yet. Still in 1941, m8.
