Hello Oleg and your team, If there are minor different variants of current FB aircraft, should it leave to you to re-altered model to new variant or get third party modeler to do all over work? For example: Yak-1M, Yak-3P, Yak-9B, Bf-109F-4/B, Bf-109F-6/U, and Fw-190A-6 like that. Please let us know. Thank you.

if it was a 3rd party i guess they could do the small alterations, otherwise its upto oleg and co.
u could a ton of planes/varients easlily i would imagine.
id like a modded p47 or a later one, and the yak9 prototype with the 50/57mm cannon. ok the recoil was too much, but hey http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

they could do it as a cheap add on cd. cheap to reflect the lack of work required vs entirly new aircraft.

Hopefully after the next few addons [Luthier/Starshoys, 1c, and whatever one comes next if any] some tools will be released to add these.

As far as I understand from following threads here and on VOWHQ/SimHQ, there's one 'weight' variable for planes which gets counted off as fuel and ammo is consumed. If that is the case then the bomb carrying Yaks, different weapons loadouts housed in existing planes, 109/190 sans machineguns, etc, would be fairly easy to construct. Don't know whether there's enough data to re-do centre of gravity or other effects on planes, but I don't know how those things are determined in the sim anyhow.

But yes - it would be nice to fill out the aircraft list some more, and it can't possibly be as much work to do as adding full new planes into the game.

clint-ruin, I strong agree with you about uneven balance on some different variant like Yak-9B. However may not much difficult to model on Bf-109F-4/B as it will be similar to G-2 and add bomb selector in cockpit with bomb rack under belly. Also, for Bf-109F-6/U only different is have MG/FF cannon in wing like have in Emil even bit slow roll and little heavy. Also Fw-190A-6. I don't know how big effect...let me look at it closer to see what about it. I add A-6 because I noticed many members want it add and I read books and see plenty of actions with A-6 so I said for them. We better dig more to see any extra variants that can be do to add more planes to FB list which are more worth to have them in FB. I wonder if Yak-9B is much worth to fly in FB? Maybe Yak-9B was build to carry much special bombs than regular bombs that want to fool enemy think it is regular fighter in high speed running as secret carry special bombs? can any one said how bad we want Yak-9B in FB?

Also, Is any possible re-model some VVS A/C to FAF's collection of captured A/C with some altered equip like I-153(changed guns type and bomb rack), I-16, DB-3M (minor guns changed and few modifications in A/C structure as same with SB-3(flown more than 1000 sorties) and II-4, Pe-2 plus some non-captured A/C like Ju-88A-4? Good example with "Blue" variants of "Red" Gladiator and Hurricane to be flown by "Blue" nations.

Look like we got an answer on Yak-9B and Fw-190A-6 http://www.il2sturmovik.com/forgotten_battles/devupdate/300404/FW-190A-6_2_s.jpg
http://www.il2sturmovik.com/forgotten_battles/devupdate/300404/Yak-9B_1_s.jpg however we still beg for Me-109F-4/B. Thank you for add Yak-9B. It will be sure a challenge to drop bomb from Yak-9B.

Actually I'd like to see the guy that modeled the B-17G ... knock the chin turret off and make it an F. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I noticed quota at PF forum that someone seek helping find some blueprints of early model of B-17 so it may answer your question.
