I like when airshows do that type of activity.

Yeah TC, ya gotta love the Tora Tora Tora bunch for putting on a show. It's really great when they get carried away & out comes the fire truck to put out the prairie fire.

Ignore stack

His mother never hugged him as a child.

Now he spends his time on hyperlobby lamenting at that fact http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I recently found this old airshow pic:

That's me on the right, with my family at the Dayton Air Show circa 1987. I was into aviation even then...

...And of course that's me below, at the same show in 2004.

I know what ya mean Flox. It's being able to touch and crawl into and thru the warbirds that really make an impression on kids.
These old pics really gave me the love for the old planes. Sometimes I still can't belive that somebody let me into the 'pit of a Texan look-a-like Zero.

Actually it was from Clover Field in Pearland, Texas. The CAF's Tora Tora Tora gang was based out of there for a while. The field is gone now and they are based elsewhere.

Ah the Co's Query, used to know it here in the UK, story goes the Squadron commander did not want to show favour to either A or B flight by adopting their code letter on the aircraft, so he had a question mark painted on in it's place......... There you go, you learn something new every day http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hey I was wondering about the question mark thing. Thanks for the info http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif. The Lonestar Flight Museum is supposed to be getting a Hurricane in later this year. Want pics?

I saw the C.A.F. back in the 70's. I've got a load of slides from then. I need to dig them up and get them put on a disc.
