I apologize for bluffing about the free kitten, but you can enjoy the smug self-satisfaction of knowing arcane aircraft. Guess away!

Stand at the grocery store and put the kittens in a box. On the box in a felt tip pen write "Free Bait". Kittens work best for large halibut. I guess this only works if you live by the Ocean but it has never failed me. Got some nasty stares though /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Hmmm most certainly looks like a Potez, either the 633 or the 637 three seater, cannot really see beyond where that guy is standing.

I'll take a kitten, haven't eaten one for a while now.

Yep,that's definately a Potez. Here's one in Romanian markings modelled by Bluestone59 for FB.

Yes, it is indeed a French Potez 631, captured and put into use in the Luftwaffe. This one is a nightfighter, obviously, although some were day heavy fighters. Some remained in use with the Vichy forces while other captured examples were given to Germany's allies such as Romania. Armament varied, but one type had 5 light MGs and twin 20mm, making it comparable to a Bf110C. French nightfighters shot down 12 planes with 8 losses before the fall of France. French day fighters were used as attack planes and suffered heavy losses to flak.

I don't have any information how successful they were in Axis hands, but I imagine in the heat of battle a lot of allied pilots would confuse it for a Bf110, despite the radial engines.

What I did not know was that anyone was working on a model for FB, or that it had progressed so far. I'm all for the more obscure French, Italian, Polish, and Romanian planes. Thanks!

You were first with the correct answer, Helgstrand--so you may choose from Tabby, Persian, Calico, or Siamese varieties. Egyptian mummified cats are temporarily out of stock.

Is any one working on a cockpit for the Potez?

I don't know. I guessing against it,since most modellers consider interiors VERY hard to do. But who knows? Maybe we'll get lucky....
