~15 Minutes in. Striking resemblence to the "Pieces of Eden" from the game. Thoughts?

strange...

so according to that video, there were people living with the dinosaurs that made these extremely old artifacts, and then the second evolution of humans began later?

damn, this can mean 2 things:

1) Those who came before wiped out the dinosaurs, made the humans, used pieces of eden to make us slaves and then the humans freed themselves

2) An ancient race of humans, billions of years old, started a colonie of humans on earth, but left for the pegasus galaxy, only to return and ascend on earth, while the other humans were enslaved by an alien race called the Guoal'd
(yes, this is from Stargate http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

Seriously now, this is some heavy stuff to think about, if this is actually true, then this means that either the humans are much older than we'd thought, or there was another evolution of humans before that, OR there was an alien intelligent lifeform other than humans on earth.
nice find!

yea, i think ubisoft has actually created a REAL animus, stuffed an employee in there, relived a few of his memories, found out his ancestors were assassins and decided "hey, that'd make an awesome game!" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Actually, it was 2.85 billion years according to the video... which they also associate with a polar shift of sorts, that they describe later in the video.

They only real reason I posted it here is the striking similarities between those artifacts, and the Apple of Eden. That, and the suggestion that the human race is older than we imagine, plus the interconnectivity between various civilizations that's alluded to, and that we see, similarly parallels the game. Thoughts?

By the way, I'm new here. Hello....

There is no reason why you can't welcome them yourself. Harassing other members isn't cool. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

This reminded me of a man who came to my church way back when I was 7 or 10. he brought all kinds of dinosaur fossils and what not, but had one set of fossils that were footprints of a brontasaurus, and a few feet away there were human footprints that appeared to have been created at around the same time as the dinosaurs. I'm foggy on the details but that has stuck with me for some reason.

I'm an intelligent design believer myself though. So I can totally buy into aliens "seeding" or creating humans.

I just noticed you seemed to be on a bit of a warpath today. That's all. I meant for no hard feelings.

Shep, It's interesting. I'm surprised that no one else mentioned the land shift that was mentioned later in the video.

I'm suprised to see how well the games coinside with real life. I wonder if there's a real life Abstergo out there someplace, putting this out there for us all to see... 'Cause nobody would believe that something this extravagant could be based on pure fact... and thus, beating the Assassins from being able to come out with it, and prove it....

Hmm....Interesting video, i'm watching it right now.

I find it ironic that our scientific comunities are so closed-minded, that they reject new discoveries just because they 'don't fit'

It is rather ironic? Just how much is brought into the game from obscure trivia and fact? We'll never know.

Has anyone noticed anything else like this? I know that they used a lot of historic places and people to create the game. What els have you guys noticed, if anything?
