Yes.

By reducing the fish supply you'll cause an economic recession in Britain by driving up the maket cost of fish.

Every ship needs a hole in the side! Also. the tend to get launched out of the water when hit. Kind of cool effects!

You're just a fish getting even from my point of view.

If you ever ate fish and chips you know they are. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

They are prime targets for my flak gun.

i only engage them in good weather...

then i use the flak gun... they go down easily and aint worth a shot from the deck gun. In fact anyhting smaller than a costal merchant dies by the flak gun!

Has anyone ever tried ramming one? Its **** tough, I must have spent around 15 min trying to hit one. The little bastard was always able to get out of my way and the only way I could hit him was with a head on collision as he went into reverse anytime I got too near. The fishing boat burst into flames and was pushed onto its side going down within seconds. Took my hull down to 85%.

Regardless of their small size, it seems coastal merchants are completely impervious to flak gun hits. I wailed away on one for 10 minutes. Upstairs there were several fires, but down below not a single shot seemed to penetrate the hull. I wonder if a heavy flak would produce better results...
