View Full Version : In Sim JoyStick Settings......

Hi all;

Ok I admit it...I'm blonde obviously having had Joy Stick settings in IL2 to such a point, that I seemed to be able to out turn anyone in any plane and rarely stall.........So naturally had to mess with it forgetting to save my old settings.

So, what I'd like to ask is what do you have your JS set at in the sim?...As I can't seem to get this re-squared away....In your config.ini you'll see a grouping of lines like this....

I'm still experimenting with this one but I'm trying to lessen the impact of response at the low end of the stick movement because I want to be more precise with small moves. It seems to help...turning and aim is a little better. But I keep a 100 at the top end for maximum deflection if I have to.

I'm with IceFire. I think I'll start adjusting the stick in the "control" menu down a bit towards the lower ranges. Having all three axis' at 100 makes for a very responsive stick, but I find precision aiming for the weapons is hard.

I really want to smooth it out. You need to hit hard and accurately within convergence with a P-51, so precision is critical.
