I have small web space available and I have uploaded few tracks on it. However when user tries to download these files with right click and "save as" Internet Explorer will always try to save them in .htm form in spite the fact that their extension is .nrtk.

Here is example
Kuna vs Bf-109s (http://free-vk.t-com.hr/domagoj/tracks/Kuna_v_4xBf-109.ntrk)

I am using Core FTP Lite for file uploading.
Can someone please help me about this issue?

Put the track in a folder and zip it.
should work. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Thanks mate that worked. I'm converting files now. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Does that means that Internet Explorer will recognize (for download) only known files (such are .exe .zip?) and will attempt to download others (unknown types to IE such are .nrtk) as .htm files?

I don't see any problem downloading your file. I just removed the extension .htm. In case you haven't already, untick "hide extensions for known file types" from the windows explorer settings.

Yes I have untick that option as soon as I installed windows http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif, but I found it strange that file can be dowloaded only as "all files" or ".htm".

That will produce some problems to inexperienced windows users since they most likely have ticked on "hide extensions for known file types" under Folder Options.

But now I have solved this mystery. lol
