how a baout a C-47 cocpit? It would have been so cool to have a C-47 campaign were you would drop parachuters
And Bring cargo to france on the new map. It would also been
Neat with some normandy invasion glider's (ai) for a normandy campaign /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif Anyone agree?

As odd as this sounds, I'd love to pilot this bird. I don't care for bombers and such, but a campaign as a C-47 pilot sounds like a really fun change of pace.

Seriously,C-47 flyable will make me throw FS , FU3 , Cfs2 and other ones. I find it much more challenging to deliver the cargo at destination and avoid those sharks than following this guy and fire those guns in the hope he/she will go down in flames.

The original DC-3 doesn't look that fancier like the pit you've posted.See,there's no gps,xponder and so on. Is much more cleaner.But as you said,they already did the He111 and here it comes the B-24,so... I wish I will have some 3d skills,because I don't think Oleg would bother with a FM.For this one is really simple I believe.And I bet 5 bucks nobody will complain about the DC-3 FM.

I'll add my vote for a flyable C-47. It's great fun flying it in FS2004. To those who have FS2004 and haven't seen this site, check out the DC3 Hanger at;

http://www.douglasdc3.com/

Having a non-shooting plane in FB will only add to its credibility as a sim.

We have a recently restored one that does touristic flights over the south shore here im Brazil. Its a nice plane and would be very fun to fly at the game !

Wow, I didn't realize there was this much interest in non-combat aircraft. I too enjoy flight for flight's sake and would recommend X-Plane to those of you interested in a non-combat Sim. FS2004 certainly has better eye-candy, but X-plane is so detailed and difficult I'd call it a trainer before I'd call it a game./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Would be nice to see this pit. I love the DC-3 in FS2004, I've modded mine into another bird from the default entirely. BTW, I'm working on a new cockpit project for the DC-3 in FS2004 right now, much cleaner than the default VC. Here's a pic:

I am all for this bird... I'd love this modelled... plus you can act as a Tug for gliders. It would also be outstanding to fly the Soviet version, the Lisunov Li-2 already in FB. There would be three gun stations, the ability to use it as a bomber, and the ability to man the 12.7mm nose gun from the pilot/co-pilot's position.
