View Full Version : Boy are pictures pain in you-know-what

I'm finally done with a longest patrol I have done so far, andI'm beginning to write a lengthy report on it. I took a whooooole lot of screens. However, I took them with a free

edition of Fraps, so they are all .bmp. re-sizing is a pain by itself (there's a lot of them), but uploading to photobucket takes forever too, since Fraps makes pic names

identical, with random numbers in the end. It takes a while to look through them in order to not upload the same ones twice in a row. It's making my head start smoking http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

I will get back to that report tomorrow, it's 9:30 pm here and I didn't get enough sleep http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. I hope you like my first ever decent patrol report that you'll find tomorrow, hopefully http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You could also bacth convert using Paint Shop, or Photoshop. Looking forward to the report (read: screenies)!

Speaking of FRAPS, I cant get sound to record. I've tried both sound settings(Detect best sound input, and Use Windows Input)

My sound device says it's Realtek AC97 Audio, and the sound Input says Stereo Mix. I also have the Record Sound box checked.

If you have MS Powerpoint... make a downloadable slide show!

Sure beats the agonizing task of resizing the pics.

I don't have power point unfortunatelly, and for sound, it records the sound no problem, but it somehow distorts it. Definitely becomes lower quality. I can't describe it, you gotta hear it to believe it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
